Celebration Station! Sounds of Steam

Day 26

Sounds of Steam
Radio Show

You've got the goggles, the shoes, the ray gun, the books, the movies, even the steampunk music. Now what can you add to your steampunk lifestyle to make it even more awesome? How about a steampunk radio show? Join Travis I. Sivart (author and creative director) and Chris Hall (the technical monkey) every Monday for a fun filled romp into all that is steampunk.
Here is what they have to say about the show:

We discuss the influence of Steampunk in the world of movies, literature, music, gaming, and every other corner of culture we can find. Each week we will discuss different Steamy historic occurrences, drinks (including beers, cider, wines, liquors, and teas) and current Steampunk events around the world.

We interview convention goers and hosts, artists, bands, writers, inventors, time travelers and craftsmen. We explore the hobbies, sub genres, geographic influences and fringe cultures that help shape Steampunk every day.

We cover the spectrum of elements that touches Steampunk. Not so much a show about the core elements, but all the seasonings and spices that give it such a wonderful and personal flavor for each individual partaking of it. All of this blended with wit, sarcasm and a pub like atmosphere.

Travis I. Sivart lives in a state of constant flux between Richmond, VA and Washington, DC with his two cats and his son. In his early teens his creativity flourished with the help of fantasy role-playing games and Travis has written and published editorials on manners, pipe smoking, and medieval re-enactment, as well as poetry. He has published short stories in anthologies, and usually writes in the Steampunk, Horror, Science Fiction or Medieval Fantasy genres. With a background and formal training in voice and radio, he has now blended all these things to create Sounds of Steam for your listening pleasure, and his own personal amusement.
